Hello soon-to-be roommate! We at the Sjaak house are looking for a new, cozy roommate? There are 15 of us living on the campus avenue. Everyone in the house is active in student life in his/her own way and is active in various sports clubs. ?? We are a close-knit house but also value time for ourselves. That is why we like to eat together with the people who are at home and a plate is regularly kept for the people who are exercising while eating. You are never alone in the living room. There is always someone at home to watch a series with, have a good conversation, study together, play sports together or have a spontaneous escalation drink. Every month we have a house evening with a fun activity, such as bowling, a tour of the Grolsch Veste or a special beer evening. We also have a dinner twice a year where we dine extensively with (former) housemates and we ritually burn our discarded furniture at the end. After all, we all go away for a weekend once a year. We have a cleaning schedule, in which everyone has a cleaning task once every two weeks. You are never alone when it comes to cooking, as we usually cook in pairs. This also means that you only have to cook once every two weeks and there is always a plate ready for you. Your new room is a spacious 14m², you pay a reasonable price and you can stay as long as you want. You share the house with 4 ladies and 10 men. With three showers and two toilets, the morning rush hour at our house is no problem. Our house is located in the middle of the campus, so all sports associations are within walking distance and you can get up nice and late to crawl from your bed to your lecture.
